About Us
The Nigerian Journal of the Humanities (NJH) is published annually by the Faculty of Arts, University of Benin, Benin City, Nigeria. NJH publishes in-depth empirically research. It is the first academic journal in the University of Benin. NJH was first published in 1977 under the editorship of the renowned literary scholar, Professor Romanus N. Egudu. Since its first publication, the journal has been fairly consistent as a platform for the dissemination of research findings in the Humanities in Nigeria, Africa and the world over. It has also continued to be a dependable medium for young and established scholars in the various disciplines of the Humanities, and of the Social Sciences as well.
